Anyone use led grow light? How good are they? Can you use them on this hydroponics grow it system?

Check out http://dabblings.net/?page_id=25 for results using DIY LED lights. I've tried Red, Blue, and White, they all appear to work just as well. The main thing to keep in mind is that if you're starting from seed, keep the light real close to the seedlings (about an inch above), otherwise they'll grow real spindly and keel over.

They look nice - but I find them rather expensive for the States. If you go to http://www.squidoo.com/LED-growlight you can find kits that are less expensive by far. If you don't like soldering, you can find ready made kits as well. Since you appear to live in Europe, with VAT taxes, etc. your source may turn out to be cheaper. Thanks for sharing the resource!
