I adore the color of this sunny lamp, but the shade left a lot to be desired. The lamp is an estate sale find that I paid $2 for and rewired with a basic kit from a home improvement store.
The new shade is $15 and was purchased at Target. Originally it was white, but I wanted something with more jazz. Cue two Petra Curtain Panels that I bought from IKEA! I cut the fabric of one-half a panel to size, wrapped it around the new lamp shade, and then I worked the glue gun magic.
The best thing, I still have enough fabric from the panels to give three yellow, wooden chairs new seat covers!
