Introduction: Edible INSTRUCTABLES ROBOT PATCH ON a STICK

About: I am married with two children. Spring, summer, and fall are my very favorite times of the year. I enjoy working in the yard, sewing, cooking, quilting, gardening, and creating. I do this to keep my sanity.

I love the Instructables Robot because he is so busy notifying us about important things on Instructables.  He lets us know when we receive a comment, news about contests, and if our entry was received.  He works such long hard hours, perhaps he never sleeps.   I thought he deserved a "Your appreciated  patch" because this poor guy is so terribly busy he has no time to read his emails.  So here's to you  Instructables Robot,  Cheese  is good for Robots too!

Step 1: INGREDIENTS

Velveta cheese  (amount depends on the size you make)  I used 1/2  loaf   too many oops,
Black olives         (several in case you make a mistake),
Radishes      A couple in case you make a mistake,
5 Pepper corn,
Cutting board,
Knife,
Tooth picks  (several),
Wooden skewers (several),
Paper to trace pattern,
Instructables robot picture,

Step 2: DRAW PATTERN

I drew a pattern from a patch but if your good at free hand omit this step.

Cut out the head, body and legs using a sharp knife.

Next trim until you have the right shape.

Step 3: CUT OUT THE EARS, EYES, CHEST, AND FEET

Cut out the ears using the rounded parts of the radish.
slice eyes using the inner olive slices and carve out rounded inner eyes from the radish.
Cut the ends of the olive for the chest.
Cut out the olive ends for the feet.

Step 4: CARVE THE DETAILS

I used the knife and the sharp end of a skewer to carve the details as shown in pictures.
Carve the straight lines using the rounded end of the skewer as well as the little dots for indentations for the body.   Use knife to cut hands.  Stick the radishes with tooth picks before you place them on the robot.  Trim tooth pick and place ears and feet where they go.  Use radish circles for inner eye.

Step 5: ATTACH DETAILS WITH TOOTH PICKS

Attach the eyes, ears, chest pieces, legs and  feet using tooth picks as shown in picture.

The pepper corns are for the carvings at the end of his body.

Step 6: CAREFULLY PLACE THE LONG SKEWER IN FOR SUPPORT

This part is tricky.  Center the skewer through the body and head of the robot. Instructables Robot can eat this at his next break if he has one,  if not this instructables will be available for his co-workers to make him for his retirement party.
