Hi and welcome to my first instructable! Enjoy :]

This is a very usefull instructable if you are a lot on your computer at night and don't want to make a lot of light in you're room!

Step 1Requirements

Requirements
These things you will need to start this project:

-screwdriver
-USB keyboard
-Solder
-Positive and negative cables
-Glue and tape could be usefull
-2 led's (you can choose what color of course)

Appreciate the attempt !but..instead of all this risk.. you can connect the LEDs to the scroll lock LED(which is rarely used) through means of wires ( the power consumtion of a white LED s abt 3.5 to 4.5 volts @ 20mA, and the keyboard provides abt 4 volts@ 20mA, so ample power 4 the LEDs to light).... in this way you can also control the lighting of the illumination by pressing the scroll lock key... i had done this n its workin like a charm 4 me !

yeah, im still learning to :D but i do know that, just dont know why...

now i come to think about it, i should ask why, and why u cant use 1 resistor for 2 or more leds....
