Step 1: Ingredients

For the dough
-1 Cup flour
-Hot water

For the filling (Feel free to substitute, mix & match and experiment with stuff in your fridge)
The ingredients in bold are the ones used in this instructable
-Soy Sauce
-Ginger
-Garlic
-Lettuce (Use cabbage if you have it)
-Mushroom
-Zucchini
-Onion
-Capsicum
-Coriander
-Chilli
-Lime Zest (for a more Thai-inspired flavour)
-Lemongrass

Me and my mum made something similar to these recently with ready made pastry specifically for making dumplings and the like, and they were great, so now I'm really looking forward to trying these, and comparing the two. I might have a go tonight, actually. We also made a sauce to eat them with that had soya sauce and peanut butter in, among other things, which tasted amazing (I've forgotten the name of it, but I'm pretty sure it was at least based on a traditional Japanese one.. Maybe).

Anyway, thanks a lot for the recipe, these look awesome.

is it possible instead of boiling them could you use a steamer and cook them

Sure! These would have been steamed but as you can see I had nothing to line the steamer. Just make sure that they aren't touching each other because they have nothing to stop them sticking together.
