Introduction: Individual Fruit Pizzas

About: In a valiant attempt to keep myself from dying of boredom, I create.
These are great when you need a touch of spring in the middle of winter.  Colorful and tasty, they are easy to make.  They can used to made a “Fruit Pizza” bar were the cookie pizza crust is made for individual pizzas, covered with sauce, and each person adds the fruits they choose from the ones available.  You may use any sugar cookie recipe of your choice.  For these Fruit Pizzas, I used the same recipe I used for the Instructable found here: https://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-Sugar-Cookies/.  Let’s get started.

Step 1:

Ingredients:
One batch sugar cookie dough, baked into round cookies (you choose the size, and you may use premade sugar cookie dough)
1-7 oz. container marshmallow fluff
1 -8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
Fresh or canned fruit of your choice (I used pineapple tidbits, canned mandarin oranges, bananas, kiwi, strawberries and grapes.  If it was spring or summer, I would have chosen strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, etc., so, whatever is in season.)

Supplies:
Colander
Bowls
Hand mixer
Butter knife
Can opener

Step 2:

Follow your recipe and make your individual cookie pizza crusts, as large or as small as you like.

Step 3:

If you are choosing to use canned fruit, drain them in a colander until mostly dry.

Step 4:

The banana slices are dipped in the pineapple juice from the canned pineapple tidbits.

Step 5:

Peel and slice the other fruit.

Step 6:

To make the fruit pizza sauce, beat the marshmallow fluff with the cream cheese together until smooth.

Step 7:

Spread the cream cheese mixture on each pizza crust.

Step 8:

Set out all the fruits you want to use for the fruit pizzas.

Step 9:

Let each individual cover their pizza crust with their choice of fruit.

Step 10:

Beautiful and delicious!  Enjoy!
