Install Mac OS X Snow Leopard on a PC

 by epicnoobpwn

Step 4: Select Custom Options and Install

Select "Customize". You have no idea how important this is! Select the options that match your hardware. If you don't know what an option does, don't install it. You will have to run many times to get everything to work.

I recommend selecting the Chameleon v2.0 RC5 bootloader. The stock one didn't work for me (took 10 minutes to boot).

Lagging in scrolling/moving windows means the system doesn't detect your graphics driver/doesn't detect all your graphics RAM.

If a component doesn't work correctly or you have any other problems use google. Google is your friend. Also go to wiki.osx86project.org website. I have the link posted in step 2.

CUSTOMIZE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP!

Once your PC reboots after the install is finished, eject the DVD and your PC will boot into Mac OS X. If the Mac OS X reboots after OS has loaded up then this is a kernel panic. It's caused if you for some reason selected 2 of the same type of drivers (the ones that say to select only one). If your screen is still blue when the music is playing you don't have the right graphics driver, so you should click reinstall selecting the bootloader option "graphics enabler".
