Now you all must be wondering that why am i writing
"Installing Custom Firmware (easy) when you have lost all hopes!!"
let me tell you there are several type of motherboards! 
exactly 3 types.... but i am not goin to tell you every single one of em.... i am just going to tell you about the motherboard that concerns us! and that mother board is "TA-088 v.3" cannot be hacked!! (but i will show u a way :D)



 

Step 1

Rite then shall we begin. First of all we have to check wether it is "TA-088 v.3" or NoT! 
most of the PSP 2000 (slim) have this type of motherboard! and dont believe anyone if they say it cant be hacked!! 

Ayte then lets continue first off! we will need ChikHEN R2!

how do i get my psp to version 5.03 it's like 6.30 or something?

Supersega1 is correct. There is a new HEN for 6.30. Just follow the same procedure and u will be good !

You don't need to. Just get 6.31/6.35 and get the hen for that. Works on my psp 3001 with no problems.
