Have you thought about a cup that behaves differently depending on the liquid, temperature or the amount of liquid in that cup?
This is a group of interactive cups. The one on the left (Cup 1) can tells the difference in the liquid you put in it, and play a certain song for that liquid in react. The one on the right (Cup 2) can change the speed of the song playing depending on the amount of liquid you add in it. Also, the color of the pink cup changes when you pour hot water in it so it depends on the temperature.

The project you showed was really great and this gave me an idea for designing an auto feeder for aquarium.

There are many of auto feeders but those are very fuzzy and being into non electronics its difficult for me to construct.

I have a doubt regarding photo-sensor since i tried prototype and it failed just because of photosensor. What i wanted to construct

A photosensor attached with vibrator and a mobile
will set alarm on mobile which will emit light on which the photosensor will be activated vibrating the motor and food will be disposed to aquarium.

I have applied 1.5 v to 3v to photosensor but the vibrator does not vibrate. Checked the vibrator and it wrks great.Checked the photosensor by attaching back to the gadget it was pulled from and it worked.

My question is what voltage to apply or what am i doing it wrong.
Vibrator needs - (1.5v to 3v) to vibrate at (min to max resp.)

Guidance will be appreciated.
