what was the point of the second stack of dummy cd cases? Also- it holds like 5 cds? What's the point? I have 1000 or so that need to be stacked...Won't work for me, but nice instructable.

You could have two "guide" bars hanging from the roof, so it looks like the CD's are just held between them.

For hidding the bracket.And you can stack over than 100 cd with no problem.

In step 3 I think you mean a slit... Good job!

This could have been done without the T-bracket bending, a simple set of L brackets, turned sideways would mount up very well and be a little sturier since the cases are weak in the middle, apart from being very similar to the invisible bookshelf, not bad.
