Introduction: Ipod Error 1611 Fix

Recently my ipod started to have problems. When i went to restore I got error 1611! After searching around I found this forum: http://forums.techarena.in/portable-devices/1157704.htm

I found a very simple fix:

(This fix worked for me, no promises that it will work for everyone) 

Step 1: FIX:

To fix error 1611 disconnect your ipod from your computer. Remove the USB cabble and put it in another port. Dont reconnect your ipod yet...Reboot PC. After the reboot open itunes and restore!

I was suprised it worked!

Note: I have only done this on windows vista.
