I got this idea from always having to hunt down my ear buds out of my pocket when I was sitting down trying to get my music on. Only problem with this model is the "lock" feature on the side above the screen.

1 Altoids tin (Flavor does NOT matter!)
1 Ipod Nano
1 square
1 cutting tool (its like a gum wrapper, I used a razor knife)
1 pen, pencil, scribe, ect...

Optional Materials:
plasma cutter, hack saw, tiny little workers, ect....
Needle nose pliers

at first i thought this was going to be another *put foam in tin put nano in foam...* but... congratulations this is great... never seen it done like this before... you could add a sort of shelf over the back of the nano and still keep altoids in it.... good instructable.... +1
