Hey i will tel u clearly tat 1st pin the largest 1 is the ground pin then the middle is the Right audio signal and the last 1 is the left audio signal so he is asking us to connect ground and Left audio signal to the speaker usually there are three wires in the 3.5mm audio jack 1 is white 1 is red wire and the other 1 is the copper wire the white is left and the right is red and the copper is ground. So u must be thinking that usually there are 3 wires and there are 2 speakers so where is the 4th wire??? look we call the ground wire as negative and the left or right audio signal as positive so with 1 speaker the white wire goes with the copper and on the other speaker the red wire goes with the copper this is how it is arranged what they do is there are 2 negative wires so they make it 1 but u can join left and right audio signal like that because u r using 2 speakers even if u use 1 the same rule applies

OUTPUT OVERDRIVE

This doesnt affect your iPod by demanding an output override in the iPod itself?... I mean, I dunno how much power those speakers you use demand neither Im sure if those speakers docks arround the net have an altern amplifier to help the iPod.

Anyway I guess if you keep the volume in low-mid levels wont be problem... I guess U
it's only like 8 ohms, it can't be that bad...
You're right; I've check out the iPod features and so far it can handle 32 ohms so a single 8 ohms speaker wont hurt at all =)
youre wrong, it cand handle FROM 32 Ohms, not TO 32 Ohms it can be more that 32 Ohms, but not less or it WILL hurt.
it will hurt it. you shouldnt run a amp at anything below rated ohmage or less. so nothing below 32 really. you might get away with 16ohms but it could still damage it.
