Introduction: Jack-O-Lantern Baby Belly

Hello All,
This is our baby belly shots of my wife. She was a good sport. This easy costume art can be made at home. The most important thing one needs is a pregnant woman (preferably about 6 to 9 months prego, the bigger the better your jack-o-lantern will look :)

Step 1: Get You Some Paint!!!

I thought about using poster board paint but my mind was changed. Get you some acrylic paint, we used the colors orange, brown and black.

Step 2: Brushing

Use a couple of different brushes to get the lines you want. Make oval lines like on a pumpkin. I used the brown and black to blend it and make it look like a true pumpkin. Looks more realistic because pumpkins are not perfect and it gives it a more weathered look and appeal. (Don't mind the boxers...lol)

Step 3: Face

Alright, when you have the lines like you want. Find a face that you like either on the internet or freehand. Once you find your image it helped to have a face painting black pencil. It was a lifesaver to trace your image on the belly. I also freehanded part of the image works great. When you are done you can paint in the jack-o-lantern face.

Step 4: Finishing Step

When you are done adding what you want(here we added a pacifier, but you can add what you want) I cut the pacifiers nipple off and used putty to stick it on. I was going to use a hot glue gun but I didn't think baby and momma would like that...jk
We had fun on this project and the paint peels off rather quickly and easily.
