Jackal v2

Well, this is my second attempt at an assault pistol. It kinda looks like a combo of shadowninja/IAC AP. This one uses removable mags. Shoots green rods

Pros

- true trigger
- removable mags (expandable)
-30-40 foot range
- looks tight
- you can also muzzle load this gun if you run out of mag ammo or want to shoot larger rods.

CONS

- looks like shadowninja's AP and teh SPIFF combined.

I think a more realistic gun is better, about looks. There are loads of removbale magazine pistols which look better.

And I didn't mean to hurt you or something :)
But it looks so chaotic ....

A comment about how realistic a knex gun is isn't valid unless it's a replica, which this isn't.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could post a picture of the inner layer. I'm not quite seeing the end bits at either side in the first picture.

I'd rather not bother with this pistol.  The invention of oodammo makes this obsolete.

I don't like Oodammo, to be honest. But I got this gun working. HOWEVER! I got bored. So I took out the entire magazine system, reversed the inner layer so the firing chamber would be accessible from the top, and made a rifle out of it. it fires yellow rods manually, or a small 4 round blue rod mag. I also added a semi collapsible stock and extended the barrel. Shoots approx. 50 ft with my barrage of thick rubberbands. It's pretty accurate too. I don't feel like posting a picture. Sorry. Haha.

You should get one up. Why don't you like oodammo?  It's very accurate and stable.

yes, but guns from half a year ago are starting to be better than guns from now as lots of the knexperts seem to have left although we do have a few remaining...

really? 6 months ago was summer or fall, (wow that was fast...) and during then was a faze of tons of guns, some of the best were built then, and IMPROVED on by now, so the improved v.2's don't seem as monumental (and half the time as good). So if mepain built a knexsayer v.2 it wouldn't be as popular, though he might have fixed something. I still think it was around then though.

a knexsayer V2 should have a less complex mechanism so it will not get messed up as much, and maybe a bigger turret.

the original knexsayer had a relatively simple mech, the bulk on the gun just makes it look complicated.

i tried makeing it have 18 barrels but the rotaor and pump would need mods

You should make the rotation mech killerk's, and the pump should just pull the pin back.

i put the br36 on the k sayer and it was beast but it used the rb to rotate and ooda didnt thin it was as cool as before

Here it is, the one picture isn't much but it gives a good idea of the gun, a few stats, length, 22 yellow connectors, ammo, anything you can stick in a slingshot gun

I can see yellow connectors all over, part conservative guns are guns that I build. The OSSR is a true part conserver.

mine uses 54 yellow connectors, 6 in the back handle 4 in the front then 44 more for the two rails, you can build it as long as you like, it uses fewer yellow connectors than the sipriani v3 but is as long as the entire sipriani even without a stock, it is in fact very conservitive for a rail gun, or even most types of slingshots

OSSR uses less yellows, I cheat and use gray 3d connectors often.

I believe the range of the ossr is 27+ meters, pretty good, I get over 100 meters firing flat with the mark 1 using oodammo

The OSSR I posted has a short barrel. Shorter than your gun I think
