This garden was untouched for over 5 years. We moved in 5 years ago and it was in a bad state before we moved in. Myself and my partner both 24 decided it was time to get our gloves on and give this gardening a go. we have no previous experience with landscaping or gardening. we cut alot of weeds down and cleared alot of ground before our first pictures. started in march 2011.

Although we did not expect to we quite enjoyed ourselves and have since been building a shed, putting edging in and planting some pot plants, veg and are planning on building a pond with railway sleepers ££££ permitting. 

Has been quite a task as we do not have direct access. we have to go up the stairs at the main entrance through the house and down the stairs, through the neibours garden and into ours. which made simple tasks like carrying turf and clearing the rubbish laborious. 150ish bags.

We also discovered that we have an infestation of knotweed so are waiting for it to seek vengance on us but are well prepaired with our glyphosphate and ink refill syringe. We also know of a waste site that will take japanese knotweed (small garden amounts) 

Nothing special here but we thought we would give the contest a go.
