This is my first attempt at an instructable, as well as my first contest entry. I hope you'll give this recipe a try, it's worth it for the marinara alone!

Step 1: Ingredients

Marinara Dipping Sauce
1 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
1 1/4 teaspoon italian seasoning
2 tablespoons diced onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sugar


Pizza
2 bags premade pizza dough
2 to 4 cups vegetable oil for frying
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan/romano cheese
1 1/4 teaspoons italian seasoning
3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
3 ounces pepperoni, diced

Yields 40 to 50 pepperoni sticks depending on how thin you roll the dough.

The oven prep before frying is great, it takes out the extra moisture so they don't splatter going into the oil. The oil also adds a nice texture and flavor to the finished
pizza sticks. Give them a try, bet you'll love em!

Dang this sounds good. I may try making pizza this way using my own recipe for the dough. Or maybe I'll just make these. They both sound tantalizing.

I usually make my own dough, but was in a rush. The pre-made stuff pales in comparison to made fresh. Give it a try and let me know if you like it. Thanks for the comment, and for stopping by.
