K'NEX Gun: Declaration (R2)

Introduction: K'NEX Gun: Declaration (R2)

The Declaration is a gun that came out of a challenge (from TheRacker) to build a good looking bolt action gun. With that in mind, I set out to build a gun that would answer the needs of any indoor K'NEX War participant, and the Declaration is what I came up with. A mix of many different bolt action guns (namely the S1, the S2, and the Vice CKG, originally created by Kinetic, but posted by Benjamin Groverhere.

While it could use a caliber change (I hate yellow rod ammo), and could use a trigger mech change, it is an over all great gun. If you would like to see the video, visit The Red Book of Westmarch Insider, or see the video here (it should be the top video on the list).

  • Bolt action mech
  • Good range: 50 -70 ft.
  • Sturdy
  • New (comfortable) handle/grip
  • Comfortable stock
  • Sights (which is something VERY few bolt action guns have)
  • New (heavily modded, taken from my ZKAR)
  • Nice looking (at least in my opinion)

I really must try more bolt action guns... If you would like internals, just ask.

oh man, ive never seen anything like it!! great job. 5*.

wow, your defiance is great man,5*

Yes, you did it! See, I knew you were capable. Quite a masterful job, too. Man, there are so many things that I want to build with my K'nex but can't because it is gone. D:

Thanks bro, you seem to be one of the few people who actually like the Declaration. It was a mix of other BA guns, but, come on, its not THAT bad...?

red can you give me a tutorial on removable mags? I'm a newbie on those

Ah, I see. Well, first off, you must decide what size of magazine you want. I think that this 'ible (https://www.instructables.com/id/KNEX-Gun-Types-Magazines-Propulsion-Internals/step2/Magazines/) will help you out a lot. After you have decided the size of the mag you want, you need to see what types of ammo (either rods, connecters, or a mix of the two) will fit withing that type of mag. Once determined, the rest is easy. Just take one side of the mag that you want to build, place the second layer within the first (the second layer sides should be far enough apart to omit the bullets to pass between them), then attach the third layer (which should be a copy of the first layer). See?
