This is a V8 mod of Geonovast's V4. Also, see the video of it meeting it's demise.

And, this is over 3 months old. I never got round to posting it.

Hey does this actually work? because ive got a knex car chassis (About 3'x2') and this would make a perfect add-on. If it does work, how much power would it crank out? if it doesnt, do you know anything like this that does work?
tman4434 says: Mar 30, 2012. 1:26 PM
the pictures to show you how to build it on the site dont show up
mamod says: Sep 27, 2010. 9:22 AM

Someone should get all knexers on this site together and make something life- size and amazing like a full size car featuring this baby for example. Someone popular who lives in a good area with millions of knex should do that it would be so cool!
ajleece (author) in reply to ant ant 33Nov 10, 2009. 6:38 PM
Awesome, but unrealistic.
mettaurlover in reply to ajleeceFeb 6, 2010. 8:09 PM
Actually, the best way to do this would be to have various people make different parts, then bring them all together and connect them to see what happens. For example, I know how to make a relatively stable wheel as far as k'nex goes.
Smasher555 in reply to mettaurloverJul 24, 2010. 2:48 PM
Good idea.
mettaurlover in reply to Smasher555Jul 24, 2010. 3:17 PM
Remember what I said earlier about acceptable time limits? That was outside them.
Smasher555 in reply to mettaurloverJul 24, 2010. 8:08 PM
It's not your bussiness to tell me what I should and shouldn't do. End of discussion.
mettaurlover in reply to Smasher555Jul 24, 2010. 11:08 PM
In all fairness, what I'm saying is general politeness. People don't particularly like getting mails about replies to comments old enough that they don't remember why they said it.
Smasher555 in reply to mettaurloverJul 25, 2010. 7:04 AM
Whatever. BTW, I said end of discussion, so drop it.
ant ant 33 in reply to mettaurloverFeb 7, 2010. 2:24 AM
yeppp sounds good. we'd end up with a 30ft alien thing with a vivsector gun on its back, twin z35s and striker pistols on its shoulders!!!!! awwweesssoooooonmmmmeeeee
mettaurlover in reply to ant ant 33Feb 7, 2010. 10:19 AM
Not so much the guns, but parts like the roof, wheels, axles, doors, etc. And some of the guys with epic amounts of k'nex can make a few D-TAB's and mount them on the hood so you could fire them from the front seats...
ant ant 33 in reply to mettaurloverFeb 7, 2010. 11:06 AM
 coool
mettaurlover in reply to ant ant 33Feb 7, 2010. 12:56 PM
That leaves the problem of moving the thing; all k'nex has in the way of motors is pathetic little things, so it'd either taker a ton of them or a much larger, not meant for knex motor.
ant ant 33 in reply to mettaurloverFeb 7, 2010. 1:06 PM
we should install a v8 engine!!! a real one with a real car chassis

ant ant 33 in reply to ant ant 33Feb 7, 2010. 1:07 PM
or, if you seen avatar, a robot thing that someone goes in and it replicates their actins
mettaurlover in reply to ant ant 33Feb 7, 2010. 2:40 PM
That would make a much nicer build, and have more places to add motors unobtrusively to looks.
ant ant 33 in reply to mettaurloverFeb 8, 2010. 8:23 AM
 errrrr. ok? unobtrusively???
Seleziona says: Nov 22, 2009. 6:40 AM
cool!
gerrits13 says: Nov 16, 2009. 4:09 PM
this motor is from knex innovation .com isn't it

ajleece (author) in reply to gerrits13Nov 16, 2009. 10:54 PM

This is a V8. Not a V4. The one on KI is either Geonovast's V4 or my V8 mod.
