Keep Your Nose Clean and Get Your Power (coat) Strait...

If you have started to accumulate a supply of powders for powder coating and want to keep them strait.
Here is an idea!

Cut up some metal strips, grind the edges to make sure you don't cut yourself... you though paper cuts were bad!
Punch a hole in one end... this id going to serve multiple purposes. Blast and thoroughly prep for powder coating

Patiently load your powders one by one making sure to clean the equipment between each one. And coat your sample strips.
Once that is done, this is where it gets interesting (and long) Tape off the center area with some tape that can withstand the oven temperatures. Then you can shoot each end with your gloss clear and the other with a flat clear. This gives you a sample of the final product with all your options.

Now use a lable maker (or laser etcher) to label each sample with curing temperatures and times... this way you know how to reapeat the process and what is required with out having to look it up on line from your supplier ever time you have a project. Then Use that hole you where using to hand the samples during the coating and curing process with a clip or ring to keep them all together and handy in your PC Kit.
