Introduction: Kevin Brauch's Blood and Guts Cocktail. Would You DARE to Try This "flesh Fruit" Cocktail?
A re-versioned, re-named Kevin Brauch Classic - proving that simple made cocktails using quality ingredients make for great tasting cocktails.
Into a chilled cocktail shaker goes:
Handful of fresh berries - use what you have, what you like best raspberries, blueberries, blackberries - muddle well 2oz quality Rum or Vodka 1/2 oz Creme de Cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) Couple dashes of bitters (I like Fee Bros cranberry or rhubarb for this one) Juice from half a lemon Squeeze of Agave syrup Splash of pomegranate or cranberry juice optional
Seal cocktail shaker, shake well for 20 seconds, double strain into chilled cocktail glass. Double straining is the best way to remove all seeds. Garnish with orange twist and a black liqorice straw.
