Introduction: Kline/Fogleman Airfoil #1 Paper Airplane

This paper airplane is my interperation of the Kline/Fogleman Airfoil. ?What's that? you ask. It is an airfoil design that incorporates a "step" into the wing, that seems to make a plane fly smoother and with less chance of stalling. It can be stepped on the top or the bottom of the wing. My design is on the bottom, and is adjustable as well, so you can decide how you want your paper airplane to fly.

A more complete history of the Airfoil can be found on this website,

http://www.rexresearch.com/klinfogl/klinfogl.htm#ultim

and if that is not working, I have backed the site up here.

Enough technical talk though, it's time to build great flying paper airplane!

Step 22: Step 22

You can adjust the chord of this paper airplane by pulling down on the two vertical folds under the wing. The depth of the chord will greatly effect the way this plane flies, so feel free to experiement at will!
