Introduction: Knex Ball Machine Copper Update 2

Picture of Knex Ball Machine Copper Update 2
Hi again.
Here is another update of my current ball machine. I have only four possibly five tracks left to complete, then I'm done. I'll try to complete all the tracks by the end of June, and hopefully complete the video sometime in July. Here is a list of some of the elements I am using and their makers. Enjoy the video!  KneXtreme

Didn't Austron make the corkscrew element?

I don't know? He might have, but I based my corkscrew off of martb95's corkscrew.

Oh lol

Great! This looks so cool! I can't wait for the final video :D

Thank you. I like making videos :)

I see! You really like making updates of your ball machines, but I don't :D
BTW I'm working on a new ball machine...

Cool! When do you think you'll be done with it?

I think more then a month cause i go on vacation for two weeks...

Ok. Have a good vacation.

Nice update! The corkscrew and small loop path is my favorite, and I also like the panel stairs.

awsome there are some realy cool elements on it i like it i cant wait to see the final video and how do you make the modified stepper lift for the new stile balls ?

sathothy (author)2012-06-26

That looks awesome! I love the path with the corkscrew in it! I love the idea from ball separating too. Are all the paths for just original or new style balls or are there are also paths where original and new style balls can go trough?

Thanks. To answer your question I'll give you tour of my ball machine from beginning to end. Before we start I'll let you know that there are three networks. First of all, the conveyer belt takes the balls to the wheel lift, then from the wheel lift to the large chainsaw lift. At the top of the chainsaw lift it divides into two paths, the corkscrew path, and a long windy path that I am currently working on. Both paths are traveled on by the newer and older styled balls. Both paths end up at the ball separator. From there the balls travel there separate ways. But most of the elements in the machine work with both kinds of balls, but not all. That's why I had to separate them. For instance, martijnb95's bowl does not work with the newer balls, neither does the panel cage, or anther element that I have invented. The elliptica though shares both the newer and older styled balls. Hopefully that answers your question? Thanks for your interest :)
