My long expected big ball machine has finally arrived!

Hi everyone!

Here is my 4th big ball machine, Paradox.
I’m very proud of this build and I hope you’ll like it as much as I do.
It has 10 lifts and 11 paths, organized in 2 networks: Network 1 has 1 lift and 3 paths, and network 2 contains 8 lifts and 8 paths aswell. The 10th lift is the ball shooter in the floor. I count it as a lift too because it also lifts the ball (Not very much but it can be higher or lower depending on the rubber band)
4 new lifts are included: In network 2 the 1st, 3rd and 5th lift, and the lift in the floor. Also 2 new path seperators (each network one) and some new elements.
This machine height is 2m90cm, width 1m85cm and depth 1m25cm.
Built time: 2 december 2012 - 17 may 2013
Pieces: 30674

-Intro 20th century fox and Paradox title created with ivipid.com.
-Music by a friend.
-My sister for helping me with filming.
-My dad’s ladder.
-And offcourse all knexers who inspired me!

New elements
1st new lift
2nd new lift
3rd new lift
4th new lift
1st new path separator
2nd new path separator

oh! does the door lift stress the motor? it looks like it does. If it doesn't I might use it!

There is no door lift in this machine...

oops! I saw you made one on another so I was confused...

Ah in Euphoria. It does stress the motor a bit, but it still works fine.

Wow! that must have used up so much knex building that ... Crazy ball thingy!
Thanks a lot!
Do you have any idea where I can find some instructions or images of the element at 1:53 - 1:56 ? I think it is a corkscrew...
Oh and picture 20 in the intro is a good view, you can try to rebuild it from that picture ;)
Oh! Thats fine I can easily rebuild it from that picture :) thanks!
No problem ;D
Also another 2 elements...

the one at 9:33 and the one at 9:46, do you have any references to either of them? (sorry to be a pain). :P

Thanks in advance!
9:33 It's originally invented by thibaultisthebest in his ball machine ROUTE 66: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rvL2iQqmBk at 14:45 in the video. Picture 22 in the intro of Paradox is the best view, sorry for no better pics :/
9:46 Originally invented by Tornado96 in his ball machine Uprising: https://www.instructables.com/id/Knex-Ball-Machine-Uprising/ at 3:32 in the video. Picture 16 in tornado's instructable is a good view.
I hope this will help :D

When will your ball machine be finished?
I don't know if there are instructions for that element, I saw it once in a ball machine and copied it from the vid. Can you rebuild it from this vid? If you want I can send you some more pictures (I'll rebuild it myself if necessary)
Look in the past comment and thanks again! :-)
And no problem, again ;)
You used my element from ionization! That makes me feel so good:D
Haha, I liked it, and it worked very well. :P
I think this is called a magnificent achievement!

Well deserved, but will you ever be able to bring yourself to dismantle it!!!???

Ted
It's allready down since the end of july :P
Thanks!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! 8-D You won the contest, great job! (As I said before, Paradox is awesome!) :-)
Yay! Thanks thanks thanks!!! :D
Congratulations!! This ball machine truly deserved the prize! My BallBuster ball machine won runner up. This ball machine is so big! It has to be as tall as my living room ceiling! Great job:D

I'm surprised that this machine won even though it wasn't a true instructable but I guess there are other rules than just that.
Thanks! Congratulations to you too! =D
I don't think it was necessary to make it a full instructables, luckily :P
