Hey guys, and today I bring you the C.A.R (Compact Assault Rifle). But before we go any further, I would like to thank and give a lot of credit to Instructables member Dr. Richtofen since I used pictures of his own C.A.R. Also because he never had the chance to make instructions, I myself have made instructions for it so you can have your very own C.A.R. The Compact Assault Rifle took me 5 hours and 40 minutes to build it and this does including making minor tweaks and adjustments to it and by the way, this gun does remind me of the SMR from COD: Black Ops II which was based of a prototype called the Saritch 308.

Good Points

· Removable Magazine

· Comfortable Hand Grip

· Very Futuristic

· Movable Charging Handle

· Good Iron Sights

· Magazine Release

Bad Points

· Doesn't Shoot Because It's Just A Model

· Uses Quite A Lot Of Cut Pieces (See Parts List)

I made it once, but the mag did not want to stay in. got anything to change that??

Not really sorry, I just ended up putting a blue rod on the white connectors though the magazine itself to hold it in place, thats all I can really say.

Awesome!

Thanks Mastersplinter

No Problem Zombiekiller-93

Hey Mastersplinter, if you like any of my creations then I would appreciate a comment, favourite or even better both of them.

I just favorited it!

Thanks Mastersplinter

I will favorite this one RIGHT know as I am saying this.

I looked it up, and this does indeed look like the SMR in COD. Good instructions, and the front grip looks amazing. This definitely earned a favorite.

Thanks Corgi, when I first saw the C.A.R it reminded me of the SMR

Looks good!

It does, doesn't it ;););)

Have you by any chance Richtofen have manage to rebuild it again

I've had chances enough, but haven't done that, hahaha.
I still have some thing that I've had for a while now, haven't got around to posting it. Maybe I'll rebuild this one after I do post it. Video games, college, music and guitar playing distract me too much from that, though... :3

That's ok, just take you're time as there is no rush. Just wondering what are you planning on building next?

Thanks Sand

You and Dr Richtofen have both done an excellent model well done

Thanks DNTR93

Nice job you made it to the finals! ;-)

Thanks, was not expecting to get this far in my first contest

Congratulations on being a finalist!!! :D

OMG, I was not expecting that. Have you check out my Peacekeeper

Cool! I always wanted instructions for these!

That's ok Akshat, I will be making instructions for another one of Dr. Richtofen's creations and it will be posted at some point in the middle of August this year but I will let you know when I have posted them.

Nice!

Nice job!
I'll try to rebuild that little bolt release I had in mine, and give you some pictures if I succeed. For the people that would be interested in that little thing.

Thanks for making the instructions!

Thanks, glad you like it. I'am going to be making instructions for another one of your creations but I won't tell you which one it is. I will be posting it at around the middle of August.
