Introduction: Knex High Power Sniper

Picture of Knex High Power Sniper

This is a high powered rifle. It can shoot quite far as it is a slingshot, frictionless 'barrel'?

-Comfy handle
-Collapsable bi-pod
-High range- (150-200 ft) Depends on rubber bands.
-Long, sturdy, strong barrel.

-Weak trigger
-No scope or sight.

It's good but the trigger is in the wrong place.

I know, but i couldnt work out how to make it at the top.

Lowney (author)Hiyadudez2009-09-02

Extend the barrel further back and don't raise the mech up high. That should do it!

mahmel (author)Lowney2010-10-26

I'm not a stupid kid, but I still can't figure out how the mech works....

Lowney (author)mahmel2010-10-26

I posted the SRv2 which was where this mechanism comes from. I have some excellent pictures there which should help you. It was the first instructable I ever posted so click my name and scroll all the way to the end of my instructables list. Or just sort by views/rating ;)

Thanks, and yes, it is the same mech as the sr-v2. Subscribed to you too.

Tom Buckey (author)Hiyadudez2009-08-30

thanks! does it get the same range as the sr-v2?

Hiyadudez (author)Tom Buckey2009-08-30

I dont really know, as i only have 1 normal rubberband on it, if i had a massive thick one like in the sr-v2, it probably would, yes.
