K'nex MA5B Assault Rifle (Halo Series)

This is a non-firing model of the MA5B Assault Rifle from Halo. I have taken a lots of pictures so someone could give me a suggestion as to what firing mechanism to put in it, and maybe some tips as to how. Thank you!
