Hello everyone!
Today I am pleased to announce the release of my very first model, a working replica of the PPSH-41 as seen in Call of Duty: World at War. Its true trigger complete with mag, round drum, stock and iron sights, what more could you want?
I have been with the site for a couple months and only made an account recently. In general most of the Instructables on this website are pretty impressive and I have made a whole load of 'em, so I thought it was time I built my own. But, I wanted to make something different, something I hadn't seen on the site before and after debating between the Type 100 or the PPSH, I decided to go for the PPSH, because I thought it would look more interesting.
So below is some pictures of the PPSH I started and finished on 17th May 2009. It took me quite a while, but thats because I made it from scratch, using a single picture I enlarged from Google. The only thing I didn't invent was the trigger, even the ram rod and mag push are my own design.
If I get enough prompts / comments / ratings I will release the instructables for this, please don't post this if you manage to build it yourself. Thanks.

yea i think so cuz i saw a trigger(ino that doesnt say everything) and i thought i saw a firing ping.

yeah and it has a handle real ppsh-41s dont have handles they have the handle integrated into the stock like a shotgun

Whats a pistol grip? >.> And they are similar guns lol, mines thinner than the actual thompsons on the website tho, and I didnt base it off them... :l

Oh right, sorry didnt know what you meant ;) Well I think the pistol grip makes the gun a lot more realistic compared with the real life counter part. A straight handle would be too similar to a thompson or something... But thats just me....

Well the trigger and this weird thing that keeps the ram rod inline is connected to the upper part of the handle, so i couldnt remove the entire thing or the gun wouldnt work. Second if I did remove it, yes it would look more realistic but the trigger would be too far away to be pulled, its at a comfortable distance at the moment. It would require a lot of modding if I was to use your idea.

I could move the stock on the bottom of the handle, but I dont how strong it would be... May just make everything more flimsy... That any better?

The mag is a real mag with a round shell to make it look more realistic. It works just like a regular mag.

Wouldnt you need those black chainy things to allow for rotation? I have about six lol. Not nearly enough to make it revovle or anything. Also, I dont have any gears if that was your plan B ;P
