Recently, my PS3 system has been getting pretty warm. I am not one to assume but one can only assume that the increase in temperature is not good for a PS3 system. My answer to this problem was to raise the PS3 above the ground allowing more airflow. This system has kept my PS3 system much cooler recently. Also, as an added bonus, raising the PS3 allowed for storage space in which I have placed room for 4 games and 2 controllers.

no idea... send me the specs of yours... I'd assume it would length and width, but not height (just don't build the top) but you know what happens when you assume..

Sorry so late, thats sick in the head, and quite cool... I take my laptop cooling fan out from my laptop when I'm using my ps3 and put it on the top shelf of this storage system.

A PS2 slim might... I have the original PS2 and it doesn't fit facing forward, but it does facing sideways, also for a regular PS2 you have to remove the top cover thing (step 2)

It doesn't actually cool it down per say, it allows more airflow increasing the time it takes to get up to the high temperature... but either way it is an effective way to increase the life of your ps3 slim
