Knex Tyre Cannon

It started off as a way to store all of my extra green rods but then i though it could be used as a giant barrel so i made this!!!! it is quite powerful however it is easily damaged if dropped or gripped too hard!!

Step 1: Pieces

You need:

8 large wheel tyres
2 large wheels
3 elastic bands (UNLIKE IN THE PICTURE)
112 green rods (not including ammo)
2 tan connectors
1 small wheel and tyre
1 grey rod
1 white connector

A shotgun doesn't need any of those except the trigger.

Either a pump or shells loaded through the back. And it does need a handle....show me a shotgun that is considered a shotgun that has no handle or pump/shells.....

Well...I guess it needs a handle. And shells, you need those. There are some single shot shotguns. And the standard double barrel coach gun, it has no handle per se, and has no pump. l guess you're right.

they dont need handles. have you seen the older, wooden and metal ones? you hold a part of the gun. although it could be considered a handle...

You should make a box of k`nex around it to bind it together and figure out a way to make a trigger (probably put it behind the barrel) and attach a handle as well.

well, im gonna post an instructable anyways but here's the preview for it. if u replace the green rods with white, and u use about 5-10 tires guess what you made? a gernade! just throw it against a wall and it will literally rain down about 50-100 white pieces. cool to play with but takes forever to put back together
