Knex SP-60 Pistol

This is my first sidearm to ever break the 60 ft mark, hence the name SP-60. Read the stats it has =D

darn, i was going to make it from the pics until i saw the broken piece in the trigger =( i might try later when i find a broken piece i've used before in my HUGE pile of knex

i dont have ANY pain in making cut white rods was long as it comes out of yellow rods

ya i used to cut them from a flexible green rod but it is so hard to find them in a huge knex bucket

Well, what i do with my Legos is put them in a big bin thats flat and that works.

i'd say very long pull back is a con :L

How could that be!? Long pullbacks offer the most possible power because the firing pin has more room to get up to speed before it gets stopped by the back of the gun. I just dont see anything wrong with having one =D

Looks good. In my opinion, I would say this is the best gun you've made. But I think you could use a better ammo.

Nice pistol. Just to point out some useful info: The trigger is not a sear. Sear triggers hold the ram at the back where the bands are held. The benefit of a sear trigger is the you can add more bands without the pin bending or breaking, because all the stress is on the back of the pin, not all the way along it like a normal gun. Sear trigger are (unfortunately) only reliable on rifles.

Ya it blocks back far and look like it gets awesome range! I lol at the fact that th ram is longer than the gun pulled back.

The pullback distance is actually the EXACT same length of the gun XD It can get the 60ft at a 30 degree angle XD It gets about 50 flat.
