General description:
- Fires yellow rods

Parts:
- Small magazine (for 5 yellow rods)
- Big magazine (for 11 yellow rods)
- Extra large magazine (for 50 yellow rods)
- Shoulder piece
- Big extension of the barrel
- Bipod
Futured parts:
- Smal extension of the barrel

The gun shoots 120 feet
But it depends on wich elastic you use

Working; pull firing pin back, bullet drops in the barrel, firing pin and bullet locks, shoot the gun, then repeat.

hi, you can buy some boxes with a lot of pieces and just a little book for kids to make some easy creations. In one box is about 20-30 of every kinda k'nex .. thingies, rods, connencters, blue rings, Y-clips. Search for them, they're good value.

I recommon to buy knex used knex in garage-sales or ebay from kids that growed too old to play with knex anymore (though some people play with knex even if they are 16, like most of us :-) and I don't think that is wrong)

well, technically, any toy gun(even harmless) is illegal if it does not have a orange tip to show that it is a toy.(thats why airsoft and cap guns have orange tips). since there are no orange knex pieces they are illegal if you shoot someone(though your chance of going to jail are basically none. i don't know anyone who would call the police if you owned a knex gun) but, please correct me if i'm wrong.

dude i made this and mine isnt powerful at all (shoots like 5 feet!) ive tried reduces the elastics(had 3 tied together so i untied one) then they snapped wheni i pulled the firing pin back far enoughto let the bullet load, any ideas?

Oh, I was replying to kNeXFreek. I know it's a sniper. Anyway, my shotgun only shot one projectile at a time so it really wasnt a shotgun. I've broken it up to make a powerful, long range sniper:

It can easily be made to have a ram rod and a magazine. It just won't be as powerful with that. It probably would look better, also a propper bolt action movement can easilly be added.

No. I couldnt get much power from that so I decided to go for a sling shot design, like the Sr-V2. It has a huge range. If I ever fire it outside, I'll measure it. I'll probably get stronger elastic bands aswell, if they dont break Under all that pressure, or get a few of the ones that are on there. The elastic bands are the biggest and strongest ones I could find anyway so if I do get more, I'll try to get even stronger ones. The bolt is the same one used on KILLERK's Sr-V2, (red rod with fins at he back and a grey connector/clip with a green rod going through it). This basically means that the tip of the bolt is the size of a green rod on it's side with that small extra surface area of the end of the grey clip aswell, and it still punched a hole about 3cm by 2cm right through a thick cardboard box! If it can do that, I think it can probably go quite far! :)

I've built this gun and its looks good and all but the bullet only fires about 1 meters max without the extension barrow... If I put the extension barrow on then the bullet doesn't even come out.

the quality of the pieces you used(ie.the center not being a perfect circle) and the rubberbands can greatly effect the range.

Maybe you should try making it better. Mine shot around ~100 ft WITHOUT the map elastic (I modded it to have a chain of regular rubber bands instead of one map one).

there is a easier way to make the barrel with all 5 rods on it. first put the rods on each connector 1 at a time and put the tan locks on last. this makes making it a lot easier.

This is my new Knex rifle and uses an 8 round magazine by Repton3 and has what I believe is the first shoulder strap which is easily removable. Since it is my first rifle it only shoots a couple feet. If anyone coud build it and mod it till it works I would be very grateful.(sorry for having just this one picture. if you need more post a comment about it and what part of gun you need to see.)

This is probably one of the best guns out here. It hardly ever jams, and it's pretty powerfull. The major flaw is that it really eats rubberbands. Small ones break after about 50 shots. There is also a lot of friction when pulling it back, but that is pretty unavoidable with sub-auto guns. I like how you used the ball joints to attach the mag and bipod, even though the bipod is pretty useless in my opinion. By the way, it's not called a map, but a folder in English ;) And the build order you use for the barrel is also pretty lame. It's easier to just put the connectors and spacers and stuff on first, and the add all the tan clips. It will take longer, but you don't have to destroy your hands.

when i first built this it jammed all the time and the firing pin which i never thought of modding was pretty crap aswell but if you put a 2 broken grey connectors in the bit where the tan clips are at the front and back it stops it jamming. im building a double barreled shifle with mags of about 40 yellow rods.

yes you can use other pieces just cut some of the orange 2 sided connecters in half/or cut some of the gray 1 side connecters in half. but this gun is not very strong. It was one of my fist guns I built on this website.

ive got a gun a lot like this. it's not as complicated and it doesn't use too many pieces. it is pretty much the same except it is a single shot sniper rifle, it shoots 40-50 feet, and the bipod isn't collapsable. but yea, it has a bipod, scope, true trigger, butt, and shoots 40-50 feet. it should be up by christmas

Good working gun but only shoots about 5 - 10 feet the firing pin didn't pull back far enoungh and the magazine didn't work because it was droppig rods onto the firing pin. i rate it 4/10

this looks like a fish and shoots like a fish. i put a very strong elastic bandon it and the pieces on the rear of the firing pin just fling out and smah ur finger or ur eye. but it looks kool. and when it shoots it goes like 5ft and skids. so it didnt go far. and the mag makes it look bad. id prefer it single shot. like a real sniper rifle.

Yes!!! finally i can make this because i bought the shark run coaster for 25 euro lol. Before that i had no grey rods and about 12 red rods lol, because al the grey ones snapped and i shot all my red ones away. Is that cheap though? 629 pieces for 25 euro at local toy store. And the starburst spinner only costs 29 euro. Sounds pretty nice doesn't it?

I modified the 11 (or 12) shot magazine by replacing the green connector with an orange one and adding a rubber band. This prevents the yellow rods from getting stuck. i get some problem in which the barrel where the yellows drop in (aka the light brown area) is a little lower than the white circles around it. This makes it so that the peices catch a bit as they fire and it considerably decreases range... does anyone else get this?

Sounds good, but on a more or less unrelated note. A pistol CANNOT be a sniper. Literally it cant be done because the barrel length is too short. SO your is more like a magnum if you think about it.

This is a rather impressive knex gun. After putting it together I'm rather impressed. Though the trigger mechanism was a bit difficult to figure out. I got it to work for me. A bit of description in that area would be nice. Though I personally. I personally would enjoy a more bolt action design though. I have not been able to make one at this time.

improvments: 1. holding one of the 11 or 6 clips upside down has a tendancy of falling out, so you can replace the white or tan rod with a blue one. 2. for anyone who didn't know this but the black socket and the black socket fitter thing + one orange piece, so this can save a lot of time looking for those things 3 you can take off the curvature part of the handle but it does take off some strength but you ccan save some pieces

Bipods, and tripods are used to position and focus, and keep it locked on the target. If you just had a regular gun w/o bi-pod or tripod, and you were in battle, youd be dead since you have to constantly re-aim from the force and human error.

Best. Gun. Ever. It took a while t build (the barrel was killin me!), and i was very worried id run out of parts. You need a bit more detawiled instructions and definatly a parts list, but your gun is perfecto! the best one ive built, and the second one that ive made... i made (in order) Semi-automatic gun (the dual-mag 20 bullet one), but it failed Killer K's gun, which worked and did a 15 feeter A mini gun (never worked) and the AST rifle, which honestly worked suckwads for me. Now, ive made thise one, with shoulder, extended barrel, 50 bullet mag, and bi-pod. it works marvelous, but ive gotten just some normal average rubber bands, but so far i think mine can pull off some 30 feet! awesome design too. I love the trigger. Infact, even if it was just the bar it would be cool for some reason to move the barrel instead of some tiny dinky part. the mechanism for the trigger was just genius. However, there are some flaw and some improvements i had... the (especially 50 bullet mag) magazines had problems like what killa x where it was at the side not the hole. i duno how to fix it other than shake-and-bake. I dont have the elastic of a map, so instead i figured i needed to use one of the 7-slot connecters (the 3-d one, blue/metalic blue), sidewayts, instead of the 2-slot gray/speckled white connecter. However, that didn't work witht he should attachment, so i needed to put a red/specked-gray 3-slot connecter with a size 2 silver/white connecter on the top of the clip. Also, the red/gray "runners" for the elastic got in the way and kept coming off, so i skiped them entirely and jsut kept them on for looks. other than those few flaws, thise is the best design evar!

This is one of the easyiest guns I ever made. tooked about 30 minutes. I have to use rubber bands on my firing rod. But when the yellow rod sits in the barrel, it can hit the side of the circle in the white ( O ) is that correct? how can I make this shoot harder too like KillerK's pistol?

That's not pump action...that's bolt action. Pump action is pullng back a maecanism which pulls a round or shell from the clip into the barrel.
