Well after looking a airsoft shotguns with my friend I decided to have a look round instructables for a nice looking pump-action shotgun (not an actual shotgun but a more lookalike gun) and I was pretty disappointed :(. So I decided to have a go myself!
Well this is something which I hope is a big step forward for pump action mechanisms. I was really trying to make this gun more realistic than anything so for that reason I opted for a SEAR trigger mech. The firing pin is pushed back by the pump and then held in place by the trigger mech whilst the pump is moved back forwards to it's original position. The firing ram again returns to the pump and the whole thing is repeated. Unfortunately because of the complex pump mechanism there was no space to put a horizontal magazine behind the pump but it could be possible!
PROS:
-realistic looks
-SEAR mech hardly ever jams
-Low cap 4 round mag
-Real pump-action!
-True trigger!
-Sights (not shown)
-Sturdy
CONS:
-Terrible range (15ft max but remember this is largely a concept design)
-Elastics to hold the ram down
-Mag at the front because that was where the only space was :(
Well to round off with some news, I think that I am going to try and remain making more realistic guns rather than guns that look crap and my next ible is a P90 so look out for that!

in the comments is someone who made the gun and modded into an spas. You can build the original one first, than change it until it looks a bit like in the comment
