There aren't many wheels I've seen on the site, so here's something to fill the gap. And it's almost perfectly circular!
Can be increased in size; just add more parts in conjunction!

Reminds me of my 18 turret... When I first made it, I only saw it as being a wheel. This could prove to be more useful than it looks.

TR24? :)

Is your 18 turret on the website? Couldn't find it. I'll see what i can turn it into.
GrandeSwag in reply to KnExXxXAug 31, 2011. 9:26 AM
No. But here it is on my SwagBoss.

Great, I could make a 12-turret gun with this.
KnExXxX (author) in reply to The JamalamSep 3, 2011. 9:36 AM
post it when done. I'm following you, so i'll be prompted.

It might happen, there's no guarantee :P

This is awesome. If you made a full sized bicycle wheel that'd be great. I've always wanted to see a knex bicycle that's actually ride-able.
KnExXxX (author) in reply to OblivitusAug 31, 2011. 7:55 AM
Thanks. Lack of single connectors though. I'll have a shot, see if I can build a less piece consuming concept to adapt into a bi/tricycle.

Sweet!

That's...pushing it lol.
Oblivitus in reply to apples!!!!!Aug 28, 2011. 12:41 PM
That's the point, lol. And after that I'd want to see a tank. I'm completely serious. I want to see a tank.
KnExXxX (author) in reply to OblivitusAug 31, 2011. 7:59 AM
Can work. I've tried it. But i can't seem to get it to be smooth. Jams too often.
Oblivitus in reply to KnExXxXAug 31, 2011. 6:06 PM
A full sized tank?
KnExXxX (author) in reply to OblivitusSep 3, 2011. 9:34 AM
Ye, tried a tank, mainly just the caterpillar tracks control systems, and suspension pulley devices. Problem was that whilst the rods ran upon gears, the centre part of the track began scraping the other parts that held the gears of the tracks. To solve it would mean removing the stabilising red connectors, and replacing them with single end connectors. But the track then slides off the gears! total frustration!
apples!!!!! in reply to OblivitusAug 28, 2011. 2:33 PM
I feel like the instabilities of building vehicles out of K'nex are kind of dangerous >.>
Oblivitus in reply to apples!!!!!Aug 28, 2011. 4:22 PM
I feel like the rush it would give me would be worth it.
apples!!!!! in reply to OblivitusAug 28, 2011. 8:08 PM
I think I'd be too busy thinking "Wow, what the hell am I doing?" do feel any kind of rush, honestly. I wouldn't trust anything made of K'nex enough to replace a bike ._.
Oblivitus in reply to apples!!!!!Aug 29, 2011. 5:25 AM
It was a joke, lol. But not the bike. I want to see a bike.
apples!!!!! in reply to OblivitusAug 31, 2011. 8:10 PM
I dunno about that. I can see you riding down the street in a K'nex tank playing an instrument while everyone just stares at you blankly...
Oblivitus in reply to apples!!!!!Sep 1, 2011. 11:14 AM
I would play a violin, and the tank would be rocket propelled.
apples!!!!! in reply to OblivitusSep 1, 2011. 1:46 PM
Yes. You'd be playing the world's smallest violin while launching down the street in a strange multi-colored, partially see-through blob.

Wow, looks good! But are all of the broken red connectors necessary?
KnExXxX (author) in reply to SelezionaAug 31, 2011. 7:54 AM
As DJ Radio and apples!!!!! have said, there are no broken red connectors. It is the Y connectors that make it seem that way. They aren't necessary, but if you have two large sized Knex Wheels / Tyres, they slot into the middle of the wheel perfectly, and the red connectors hold them in place. I'll also be adding this note on the ible.
DJ Radio in reply to SelezionaAug 28, 2011. 8:30 PM
There are no broken red connectors.
apples!!!!! in reply to SelezionaAug 28, 2011. 8:15 PM
I don't believe there are any, the Y-connectors just make it look that way in the intro picture.
