My tenth instructable! :-D

Before I say anything, I give TheDunkis a crapload of credit for making teh TDS.

Okay, I fainally got the V3 posted. (the v2 was the 4th picture)

Go to step 6 to build the V3.

For the pads with those two lines of knex on the top of the gun, I don't have the two pieces that are two connectors (On the end of the line of knex). Can you sub it with a longer rod and Y-connectors?

Hey Owen, made the gun, and it does look amazing. However, I cannot seem to get the firing mechanism to work! The ram constantly gets stuck, or bends down significantly. Also, how should I be loading the mag? Because all of the bullets seem to be getting jumbled up in the barrel.

All of the tds2 type pistols are extremely unreliable, so if you were going to use it as a sidearm, I wouldn't suggest it. If the ram is bending a lot you should try placing the rubber bands somewhere else. I put them in the rod space on those yellow connectors sticking out near the barrel.  I don't know whats causing it to jam, it's probably just like any other tds2. I really didn't make this for use as much as looks. Sorry. I wouldn't really know which pistol is best for reliability  since I have been very, very inactive. I remember building Zak's oodammo  pistol on KI. Like  with all other of Zak's creations, it preforms  amazingly.

i think their was 2 on the handle/trigger, one pushing up the trigger, and one for the mag pusher...? and a doubled up one for the ram

Ahh, okay. Well, aside from the reliability, this gun really is an ingenious design. Thanks for the help, and if you have time to during the summer, you should really look into returning to instructables.

try putting less rubber bands on it.. if you new to this gun stuff, you should try and make a oodammo pistol, their much more reliable and stronger. i just made this for looks. ;/
