Step 1: The Trigger

Follow the pictures

Step 2: The Body

That long part that connects the bow to the trigger. Feel free to make it longer or shorter.

Step 3: The Bow

The part that holds the rubberbands.

Step 4: The Rubberbands

Follow the pictures. Try it first with three on each string and if that is too small use four.

Step 5: The Stand

It is at about 30 degrees. When the bullet hits the ground over 100ft away it still has enough force to hurt.

Step 6: Putting It All Together

YAY. The best step.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!

Step 7: The Ammo

This is a list of all of the ammo I have tried and some basic stats about each. Distances (D) are by feet, piercing (P) is in layers of cardboard, and weight (W) is in grams.

i tested each type about 3 times each and took an average

Silly. Could've had a v8! *smack* lol jk.

mine kept on falling apart but i reinforced it and was able to handle the pressure. i still cannot figure how to load and shoot it. VERY COOL!!!!!! 20/5

i have enough pieces to make I_am_Canadian's handheld V5 cann like 10 times no joke

Nice! I was going to make a arrow shooter... Good work. About the "just as good" part... Thats to be decided.

Your's is better, it's a well should be a well established fact that if you want a cannon, IACs your man

decided! yours is better, i have to say. no offence 222222222539

I didnt mean to compare them like that. I meant that mune uses 5x less pieces and is as powerful. The ammo is lighter but is more deadly(not really but it does pierce better).

Mine goes clear through cardboard as well.

Ya but does it go through 4 layers of 5 ply cardboard

Its hard to get a blunt piece of ammo 3 inches wide through that.

Well If you are talking about practicability, most people do not have enough time or pieces to make yours where in mine it takes less than 1 hour to build and uses under 400 pieces. Yes, yours is better if you have enough pieces but odds are you don't.

Thats only one thing though, and thats why I made 4 mini versions of it, which uses less of some pieces than this does.

Yes I Know but they are still similar. I just wanted to say that so more people would view it anyway. Yours are bigger and better but for a first gun mine is pretty close.

They are both good in their own ways.

Yes they are but I built yours finnaly (the handheld) and it still uses a ton of piesec and weighs 3 pounds. It shoots far and has a lot of power but it is strong. I still think it uses a little too many pieces for a handheld.

    so, who wants cookies?
