This is a M1 Carbine and I hope you guys enjoy this

Range: 40 ft or so
Looks: I'd say it looks a lot like the real thing
True Trigger

Well hope you like this...

Credit for Taunts with his mp5 I modified the mag a bit to hold Grey connectors though.
Credit to the Dunkis for his trigger

This is my first instructible so leave alot of good comments please.

Step 1: The Adjustible Stock

The real stock of the M1 Carbine is actually some strong wires but I couldn't do that with knex. Although the stock is kinda weak It is adjustible to the users shoulder.

2-3 are the same thing (Sorry for the Blur)
4 Collect
5 Attach
6 Attach

Your done with the simple stock
This is a bad instructable the pictures arn't clear and I have no idea where you put the pieces at!!!!!
that doesn't mean its a bad instructabe You shouldn't go flaming other people just because you suck at K'nex
burn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(little over protective though)....burn!!!!!!
I think that he means the instruction quality sucks. I personally disagree, but just try to let him improve.
stock sucks
Make a new one yourself! I ran out of pieces
this is not a M1 Carbine
you suck
LOl, im sorry, this was my first instructable, how about you make one yourself,
oh wait, you dont have anything that you have to show for yourslef, all you do is flame other peoples instructables, go do something else and dont act like you are 6 years old on the internet
are the m1 carbine and m1 garand related?
Wow Loyamann124 u OWNED Knexboy959. And nice instructable
The M1 carbine has a straight 15 round magazine. ( I can pull one of mine out of the gun safe and take a picture if you like) The M2 sub machine gun (usually incorrectly called the M2 "carbine" ) could use the 15 round straight or a 30 round curved magazine.
And, the m2 can shoot fully automatic :) I know there is a M1A1 carbine (folding, steel stock) but is there also a 'M2A1/2?
this is just a striped version of trauts mp5 might as well just make the mp5 its way better
Do you really need the ball joint, cant you just put another one of those hinges in ?
what's the ammo?

grey connecter
were do the rubberbands go for the trigger and the firing pin
refer to THe Dunkis's Ak-47
the trigger sucks it wont stay on
You place it behind the white rod
I did that but it still wont stay on
I cannot help you without any pictures or any other answer except "it wont stay on", and "it sucks"
Please try for a better mag
You could mod it... I will make an improvement later
Does this shoot?
I believe yes
You made the folding stock paratrooper version
mag is shorter alot shorter plus longer barrel needed plus i think ummm a stock!
the gun is mint but just a idea you the real one has a straight and smaller mag ;) but the guns mint
it looks really cool, but my bro is doing homework so I can't use his computer to make it at the moment, but I think ill make it once my bro is done writing his paper. :)
never mind
were do you put the rubber bands to shoot or does it shoot
I did not make it but tomorrow I will try to
I made the gun but the trigger wont properly work
what shood i do
The trigger actually goes behind the white rod with the blue spacers
Actually, that's an M2 Carbine but whatever. Cool idea though.
An M2 carbine is a selective-fire version of the M1 carbine,so you would not be able to tell.
The M2 had the curved, or banana magazine because like you said, was selective fire. I guess you could put the longer magazine into a M1 Carbine, but they are usually on M2's.

Here's some pictures of bot guns, notice the magazines.

M1 Carbine

Mc Carbine

Article about the weapon.

I actually have an M2 mag for my M1 and it works great.
I guess you could put a M2 mag in an M1. But the curved mag is usually indicative of the M2 or M3 carbine.
That's supposed to be "M2", not Mc, it's a typo.
And the M1A1 carbine has a wire folding stock. I have a real M1 carbine and it has a regular, solid wood stock.
Cool. Looks more like an MP5sd than an M1 Carbine tho.
