Knex M1 Carbine

This is a M1 Carbine and I hope you guys enjoy this

Range: 40 ft or so
Looks: I'd say it looks a lot like the real thing

This is my first instructible so leave alot of good comments please.

Step 1: The Adjustible Stock

The real stock of the M1 Carbine is actually some strong wires but I couldn't do that with knex. Although the stock is kinda weak It is adjustible to the users shoulder.

The M1 carbine has a straight 15 round magazine. ( I can pull one of mine out of the gun safe and take a picture if you like) The M2 sub machine gun (usually incorrectly called the M2 "carbine" ) could use the 15 round straight or a 30 round curved magazine.

And, the m2 can shoot fully automatic :) I know there is a M1A1 carbine (folding, steel stock) but is there also a 'M2A1/2?

The trigger actually goes behind the white rod with the blue spacers

An M2 carbine is a selective-fire version of the M1 carbine,so you would not be able to tell.

The M2 had the curved, or banana magazine because like you said, was selective fire. I guess you could put the longer magazine into a M1 Carbine, but they are usually on M2's.

I actually have an M2 mag for my M1 and it works great.

I guess you could put a M2 mag in an M1. But the curved mag is usually indicative of the M2 or M3 carbine.
