Knit Mermaid Tail for Dolls

I have transformed my dolls into into sirens of the sea with this new knitting pattern I designed, Mermaid Tail for Dolls.

The models are a Barbie and a 27cm Volks doll. The furniture and accessories are by Mattel and Re-ment.

The pattern calls for 1 skein of Cotton Classic yarn by Tahki Stacy Charles and US 5 dpns or a long circular needle. It is an nice inexpensive yarn that comes a rainbow of beautiful colors.

I love this! When I was a kid, my Aunt crocheted outfits for my Barbies. They've since been passed along to her grand daughter, but I'll never forget them because they were such a special touch to a commercial toy. The mermaid tail is fantastic! If I had one when I was young, I wouldn't have been so hell bent on getting that Ariel doll for Christmas :P
