I knit up Raynor Gellatly's Sweet Little Bird from the pattern at knittedtoybox.blogspot.com/2008/04/sweet-little-bird.html and added a little beak and eyes with cotton yarn and some basic embroidery. It was a really great project to use up some extra blue yarn I had leftover from a knitted present.
