Clarification: Mr Dipankar's circuit is an AC circuit. It has mild flicker and he also clarifies it. I have used a diode bridge and made a DC circuit and so my circuit has no flicker (so it is brighter).
My AC circuit (with mild flicker): World's best LED Light Bulb - Part 1
My DC circuit (without flicker) : Part 2, as well as this I'Ble.

Credibility is not being chased at all, i have made other I'bles & dont claim to be a master. I have learnt from this site...
Your point about messing with AC mains is truly appreciated. Those who dont have sufficient knowledge should NOT attempt, period.
thanks for ur views.

maybe you could provide the schemeatics of the Bulb.
How did you calculate the necessary components ( LED / Diode / Capacitor ) ?
But a lot of people like to see how well the final product performs before making it.
