In this instructable, I will show how I made LED hearts to make a Valentine's Day flower bouquet a little more unique.

The idea for how to make the LED's came from this instructable:

Step 1: Cutting the hearts

First thing I did was cut out a heart stencil out of a piece of paper and I traced it onto a piece of scrap wood.

Using my handy rotary saw, I cut out the hearts. Then I sanded the wood to make the edges smooth.

Very (very!) brilliant idea. Even better, you could add in a switch, then you could keep them, and they wouldn't burn out very fast just having them there! Great job, I like so much that I might have to try this out if I can get some LEDs... very low supply I have right now... very low.

Get some off ebay; I purchased 105 LED of assorted colors (White, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Ultraviolet.) for only $12.00, and that includes shipping! By the way, I got 15 of each color. Pretty crazy considering Radioshack charges almost $5.00 for one blue LED!
