Hi,here is another tutorial of linkit one board,in this tutorial I am going to write some of the projects that can be made using this board related to L.E.Ds .The projects are:_

  1. Blinking L.E.D with speed control
  2. Fading L.E.D with intensity control

Step 1: Collect Things

We need :-

  1. Mediatek linkit one
  2. Jumper wires
  3. L.E.Ds
  4. Wifi antenna (included in the box of board)
  5. USB cable

Step 2: Blinking L.E.D With Speed Control

To get a blinking L.E.D use this code:-

int led = 13;

void setup() { pinMode(led, OUTPUT); }

void loop() { digitalWrite(led, HIGH); // turn the LED on (HIGH is the voltage level) delay(1000); // wait for a second digitalWrite(led, LOW); // turn the LED off by making the voltage LOW delay(1000); // wait for a second }

And to change the speed change the value of delay .It is in microseconds!

For e.g here delay is 1000 it can be changed to the least value but values near 1 may not be noticeable!

Step 3: Fading L.E.D With Intensity Control

for this project use this code :-

int led = 9; // the pin that the LED is attached to
int brightness = 0; // how bright the LED is int fadeAmount = 5; // how many points to fade the LED by

void setup() {

pinMode(led, OUTPUT); }

void loop() {

analogWrite(led, brightness);

brightness = brightness + fadeAmount;

if (brightness == 0 || brightness == 255) { fadeAmount = -fadeAmount ; } delay(30); }

use digital pin 9 for the led's positive terminal and negative should be joined to gnd.

To change the intensity decrease the value of fade amount.

Step 4: Controlling L.E.D Over Wifi

I will publish many other tutorials by this November.check out all of them!I bought a new arduino as older one's ic pin broke down:-(.I will make a project firstly to be made with arduino and then its linkit version
