Making the I-Cord using the double pointed needles
Cast on # of stitches need. Slide stitches to opposite side of needle. The yarn should be coming out of the left stitch if you are right handed. Pull the yarn from behind. *Knit across the stitches. Slide stitches across needle. Repeat from * until desired length. To bind off, thread yarn through large-eyed blunt needle and pull it through all three stitches 2 or 3 times.
When you are done making the Paws you will have the tail at the beginning of your work, just weave it in with your needle back in through the middle of your work. At the other end you will have the tail end that you will use to sew legs to body fold that end down to make the upper part of the paws look like the upper part of the rat’s legs and sew to body.
