Landscape Timber Garden

My wife and I build and planted this landscape timber garden during the last 2 weekends. Makes gardening possible in rocky Arkansas. Easy to build and no waste. Used 13 timbers and 30 - #60 6" spikes. It took 12 - 40 lb bags of dirt and 5- 40 lb bags of Miracle Grow Garden soil to fill.

Will the chemicals in the timbers leach into the soil?
