A Great Dane should have two courses per day, Breakfast and Dinner, not eating whenever. This can give a dog a stomachache and even make him/her throw up. Actually, any large dog should have 2 courses and not be able to eat willy nilly. Although if this was a bit safer for dogs I would use it.

I would build this but my dog will eat all the food in one course. It would be better if it could dispense a cup of food twice a day
