You will need:
Laser cutter
Wood
Acrylic
Sandpaper (Electric Sander Preferred)
Step 1: Files
Included are the files for four different combs. Files are provided in .svg and .Ai. The .Ai file contains all versions of the combs separated into layers.
The files "Long Comb" and "Dog Comb" come in 'blank' versions that can have custom text.
Step 2: Laser Cut
Cut your completed files on your laser cutter. We're using a FSL Hobby Laser.
Our files are color coded:
Raster engrave on Black sections,
vector engrave on Blue lines,
and completely cut through Red paths.
Step 3: Sanding
To make the comes more user friendly and efficient, sand along a 45 degree angle to point the teeth. We're using an electric sander, but with some patience, it is possible with sandpaper.
Step 4: Use
