Introduction: Laser Cut Shave Stand

Here is a quick and easy laser cut shave stand to hold a single brush and razor. The brush holder has a diameter of 1.2", and the razor holder has a diameter of 0.5". I made this bad boy because it combined my two favorite hobbies: wetshaving and digital fabrication. Originally created for the members of Reddit's illustrious wetshaving community, /r/wicked_edge.

Step 1: Template & Supplies

Materials needed:

- 1/8"-thick acrylic sheet (preferably black)
- The .EPS parts template file (attached)
- A laser cutter
- Super glue (cyanoacrylate)

Cut all parts and lay them out for assembly.

Step 2: Building the Stand Column

Apply a thin layer of glue to the sides of the center piece. Insert into siding pieces and hold until fastened.

Step 3: Attaching the Base

First, attach the column to the upper base by fitting it into the slots. Second, apply a layer of glue along the bottom surface of the upper base and attach into slots of the lower base. Hold together until fastened.

Step 4: Attaching the Stand Arms

Repeat similar steps from attaching the base to attach the smaller of the arms first. Then, attach the topmost piece by fitting it into the two top slots.

Step 5: Use in Good Health!

Place near sink, apply brush and razor, and enjoy your new shave stand!
