I have used my Epilog laser to sign my name and put a date to wooden sculptures that I carved with a dremel. I also like to identify the variety of wood I have used, giving the common name, and scientific (latin) name of the wood. I end up making a box, that says in it "Handcrafted by Donald Pelton, Osage Orange, Maclura pomifera. 2009"
