Step 10 Cutting The Fins

Now we have to make the fins. First, use a ruler and drw the measurements on a notecard. the measurements are shown below in the picture. Then cut it out with your scissors and place on the balsa wood. Next, trace the cut out with a pen and then cut it out with your hobby knife. Make sure you get as close as you can, so that they are all equal. Repeat this three times for each fin. Next we have to sand them. Lay each fin on top of each other so it looks like one big fin, then sand all the sides down until they are smooth and you are all done.
